Let’s get back to a little Alice, shall we?
Yep, text from Alice In Wonderland appears again in today’s painting…as dots. (Way to really run a theme into the ground, Mandy!) Anyway, this is one of those pieces where I finished it and shrugged. Good exercise in not waiting for one color dots to dry before starting on a new color. Gave it a little bit of interest when it blended and swirled. But overall, kind of meh. I almost didn’t post it. There were some test pieces that I’m not posting because you know, you don’t invite audiences to every rehearsal, right? But this one was complete. I just didn’t like it. It makes me wonder if deceased artists realize that museums are showing and auction houses are selling all their rehearsals. If you believe in an afterlife, they are probably there saying, “Aw man. Seriously? Not that one. I was just messing around.”
