It’s Sunday and I’ve just gotten back from Target. I was there a week or so ago and saw in their clearance section some David Bowie themed ankle socks. Two to a pack: one gray with “Bowie” in white and the other black & red with the Aladdin Sane lightning bolts. I grabbed three packs. $1.80 each, how could I not? I then spotted a pair of black crew socks with lightning bolts. Got one pair of those. $1.50, folks! Both styles fit nice. The ankle ones don’t retreat into my shoe and under my feet which drive me nuts. They were a heavenly discovery, those socks.
Today at Target, I cleared out the remainder of them. Four more ankle sock packs and another pair of crew. Yes, your math is correct: I now own 14 Bowie ankle and two crew sock pairs. I hope they last forever.
What does this have to do with today’s painting? Absolutely nothing. I just thought you should know.
