I’m back on the globe thing again. Decided to give some love to East Asia and Oceania. Again, it’s obviously not to scale. Lots of Pacific Islands are missing. And instead of dots, I went with a bit o’ stippling. I got a 25-piece pack of foam brushes from a second-hand shop for $1.50! So long story short: you may see more of the stipple.
Side note: I went to look up stipple because I had that moment where you are 100% sure one second you know the word and then completely doubtful the next. First definition of stipple, according to the Merrim-Webster Dictionary app: To engrave by means of dots and flicks. The origin of the word is Dutch: stippelen, to spot, dot. I can’t escape dots!
