Non-NoWriMo Offering #28

I’m loving throwing down thick coats of paint and swirling them around, creating texture. I was dangerously close to going Full Pre-School on this painting and getting in there with my hands. As opposed to the previous piece where I kept the texture design to “targets”, in this one I went loosey-goosey, willy-nilly or flowy joey or whatever. I did stick to the theme of circles but brush-strokey circles. (Besides wanting to finger paint, I apparently want to use sing-songy, hyphenated words. My Spell Correct is getting a headache. Especially since I couldn’t resist using one in this parenthetical.)

Side view!

Like the last one like this, I purposefully spilled over the sides so you can see the layers. You know when you are in an old place where the walls have been painted over and over? Then when some chips off and you can see the history of the wall like the rings of a tree? Cool, right? The underlying layers deserve some love.
